Hygiene Support - Menstrual Hygiene

Join the Zeph Omweno Foundation in ensuring our girls remain in school during their menstrual period. In rural Kisii, girls miss school for 4 to 5 days due to a lack of sanitary towels, which amounts to about a third of missed school days of learning for the girl child. The same girl is expected to come back and be examined at the same level as her mates who have been in school throughout. By providing sanitary towels, the Zeph Omweno Foundation ensures education does not stop for the girl child because of a natural process in her body. We continue to support the girl child and ensure poverty does not become a detriment to their pursuit of knowledge.
