Education

From Dropout Risk to Top Student

When we first met Kevin, he was on the verge of dropping out of Form 2 due to unpaid school fees and a lack of motivation. Through our mentorship program, he was paired with a professional engineer who met with him weekly. Kevin's grades jumped from a D to a B average within one term, and he has since been awarded a partial scholarship to continue his education.

Dignity Restored: Girls Staying in School

In a rural primary school in Kisii, girls were missing up to 4 days of school per month due to period poverty. After ZOF distributed 120 hygiene kits and conducted hygiene education sessions for students and teachers, absenteeism among girls dropped by 85% in just two terms.

A Mother's Transformation

Mama Amina attended our Modern Parenting Workshop almost out of curiosity. She left transformed. She began applying what she had learned about positive communication with her four children, and within months, her eldest — who had been truant — was attending school consistently and aspiring to study medicine.

What People Say

ZOF gave me hope when I thought my education was over. They didn't just pay my fees — they believed in me when I couldn't believe in myself. I now know that my background does not define my future.
